Coined as Maggie Lindemann’s secret weapon (she co-wrote Lindemann’s 2017 single “Obsessed” which was used as the theme song to the Pat McGrath Labs makeup Collection “So Obsessed” – generating Lindemann a reported 2.5 million dollars), Australia’s Ivy Adara is an emotive pop vocalist and songwriter. Born in 1995, Adara became interested in performing at a young age and was writing her own songs before she was a teenager. In 2016, she came to the public’s attention after competing on the eighth season of the Australian version of The X Factor. Although she did not make it past the early rounds, she earned a standing ovation from judge Guy Sebastian. Over the next year, she relocated to Los Angeles and began working on her debut album. During this period, she also co-wrote songs for Dami IM, Natalie Conway, Jessica Mauboy, and others. In 2017, Adara delivered her debut single, “Famous.”, which was followed up by her current single “Rebels”. Ivy is also credited as a writer on Selena Gomez’s new album for the song “Flawless”.
