Formor global head of artist & label marketing Dave Rocco was hand picked by Troy Carter to spearhead Spotify’s artist marketing campaigns because of his past experience at MTV, WHTZ (Z100) New York and the Deutsch agency, where the two worked together on a Charlie Puth campaign.

As reported earlier this week, Rocco will be leaving Spotify to take a role at Universal Music Group. Rocco will will report to UMG chairman and CEO Lucian Grainge.
