Paul McCartney’s “Egypt Station” appears to have won this week’s US album sales and consumption races.

Hits Daily Double and BuzzAngle report “Egypt Station” sold about 141K pure US copies during the September 7-13 tracking period. If you include streams the album generated nearly 146K in overall consumption.

Billboard data will likely differ from these numbers, but only slightly.
